Both the scene and music by hans zimmer really make it the saddest scene in disney and all movie history. You can also expect plenty of happy tears while watching this movie, but, yeah. Monsters inc, finding nemo and toy story 3 are among pixar's most emotional films.

Ok, this one is kind of a gimme, but we couldn't not include it. Sophie is the survivor of nazi concentration camps, who has found a reason to live with nathan, a sparkling if unsteady american jew obsessed with the holocaust. Without a doubt the movie's saddest moment is when miguel is trying to restore coco's memories by playing remember me. Bambi is about a young fawn who gets chosen to become the next prince of the forest, but unfortunately, his life (and those of his loved ones) are constantly at risk because of dangerous hunters.

So sad, you're going to be reduced to a pile of mush by the time the film's all said and done. And of course, all these emotions make us laugh, smile, gasp, and even cry. Soul isn't the first nor will it be the last pixar movie to be sad; For those who haven't watched coco yet, it's time to do so. Disney wants us to feel good when walking out of one of their theatrical films but they failed miserably with the hunchback of notre dame, if not because of the story itself being very dark and sad.
